Today I had a fab idea for a Memoration.
I imagine a person commissioning a kite to fly, and then I imagine lots of people doing the same. Creating kite memorations with the faces of people we want to remember, or remembering a fantastic occasion like someone going into remission with Cancer or a donor transplant being successful and all of us flying our kite memorations together in a communal park. Lots of different memories being flown in the sky together, the faces of the people we love and the words of the poems we have written and the ideas and the occasions we want to mark all floating on the wind.
