What are Memorations?

Memorations are ways of storing, creating and enjoying memories, or finding ways of approaching our more difficult memories. Memorations can also be innovative and sensitive ways of recording memories and creating memories for people anticipating loss and bereavement. They can also be good for families learning to live alongside long term illnesses and conditions. Memorations can be joyful, sad, or most common of all...both.
Memorations are ultimately about the stories of our lives. They can be as simple and inexpensive as a bookmark,  and as complicated as a lavish themed event.
Most will fall somewhere in-between and will be affordable and realistic.
A Memoration might be designed to remember the first year of a person's life or to remember the date of a person's death. It might be a record of a Community Event or a shared journey. A Memoration could also be created with a painful memory in mind.
The need or desire to create a Memoration will arise from a multitude of different experiences but they will be about a human story.
